Worship Their Lordships Laksmi-Narayana

Sri Sri Lakshmi-Narayana

Lord Visnu and the goddess of fortune
 are an immensely powerful combination.
They are the bestowers of all benedictions
and the sources of all good fortune.
Therefore the duty of everyone is to worship Laksmi-Näräyana.
                                                                                                     ~(Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.19.9)

How do we worship Their Lordships Sri Sri Laksmi-Narayana?  By chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare/Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.  By studying Srila Prabhupada's books every day, especially Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam.  By observing the Vaisnava holy days.  By associating with and serving Vaisnavas.  By worshiping the Deity and Srimati Tulasi devi.  By honoring Krsna prasadam.

We ladies also worship Laksmi-Narayana by refraining from fighting with our husbands.  By speaking sweet words to them.  By rendering quality, loving service to our husbands according to time and circumstances.  By becoming the ever-well-wishers of our husbands.  By befriending our husbands' relatives and friends.  By following the vows of our husbands.  By always keeping ourselves clean and attractive for the pleasure of our husbands.  By keeping our house always clean, orderly and fragrant with incense and flowers for the pleasure of our husbands.  By keeping ourselves always alert and ready to execute the desires of our husbands.  By being modest and truthful.  By controlling our senses.  By being satisfied, adjustable, and flexible in all circumstances and by resisting the temptation to give in to greed in our hearts.  By becoming expert in household affairs.  By becoming conversant in religious principles.  By speaking pleasingly and truthfully and remaining always pure and clean.  By being very careful, and engaging always in the service of our husbands with affection.  In other words, we worship Their Lordships Sri Sri Laksmi-Narayana by following the principles that Srila Prabhupada has given to all of his followers, as well as the specific principles of a chaste wife as listed by Sri Narada Muni in Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.11.25-28.

We also pray to Their Lordships Sri Sri Laksmi-Narayana to bless and protect our husbands in every aspect of their lives.
