The first and foremost of the Sacred Secrets is to become Krsna conscious. Srila Prabhupada gave us many instructions, but he explained that the most important instruction of all is to always remember Krsna and never forget Him. So this is also the first and foremost goal and by-word of a chaste wife. A chaste wife depends entirely on Krsna in every aspect of her life and her service. She understands and recognizes that she has no power on her own to please her husband or to raise her children properly. She completely depends on Krsna for such empowerment. She fully accepts the words of Lord Sri Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita, that one's prescribed work must be performed as a sacrifice for the pleasure of Visnu. She offers everything she thinks and says and does and perceives to Krsna. She chants her japa with full attention, like a child crying to its mother. She listens to every syllable of every name. She surrenders to Sri Nama Prabhu with ever-increasing desire to be guided by Him how to serve Him in the most pleasing way at every moment. She has strong faith in the Holy Names of Krsna and depends on Krsna and His Holy Names to empower her to do her service as a wife and mother nicely. And when she does something nicely, she gives Krsna all the credit.
